Salary: Branch Postmaster (BPM) ₹12,000/- to ₹29,380/- Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevak ₹10,000/- to ₹24,470/-

Qual: Educational Qualification Secondary School Examination (SSE)/10th standard pass certificate, with passing marks in Mathematics and English, from a Board recognized by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories. Candidates with equivalent qualification from any other board are not eligible. Local Language Must have studied the local language (as prescribed post-wise for each Circle in Annexure-III of the notification) at least up to 10th standard from a recognized board. Special provisions apply for Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Sikkim, and Nagaland. Other Qualifications Knowledge of computers; knowledge of cycling; and adequate means of livelihood besides the GDS allowances (to be submitted as undertakings at the time of engagement)
