The Union Cabinet has approved the expansion of the flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Urban and Gramin 2.0 to provide financial assistance to 3 crore additional rural and urban poor families for constructing durable pucca houses with basic amenities.

Interest Subsidy & Assistance

Eligible EWS, LIG, and Middle-Income families can avail interest subsidies up to ₹2.67 Lakh on home loans alongside direct financial assistance deposited into bank accounts through Aadhaar Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
